Jason Land was our realtor representing us in our search for a home in the Black Mountain-east Asheville area over the last ten months.  Over the last forty years, we have bought and sold nine or ten houses and plots of land, and Jason is the best realtor we have ever worked with.  He was incredibly thorough at ever step of the search, providing us as much information as was publicly available, and guiding us based on his knowledge of the area, and his carefully formulated perceptions of our most important concerns. 

When we chose to make an offer on a house, his network of contacts among contractors and inspectors served us well in negotiating with the seller and in understanding what needed repair or improvement.  Again, his meticulous record-keeping and timely provision to us of needed information ensured we had the necessary facts assembled in an organized manner to allow us to make an informed decision.  One significant part of the service Jason provided as a realtor was that his communication to us was always timely; he would email or text us multiple times a day if important new information became available, and he always responded promptly when we called, emailed, or texted. 

When we got to the final negotiation on the house we chose, Jason was an astute judge of what was possible in terms of obtaining concessions from the seller on valid concerns raised by the home inspection.  His suggestions with regard to what attorney to use, which surveyor, and other such closing-related items always resulted in a good experience for us as buyers, and that indicates to me that Jason is well-known and well-liked by his peers in the community of professionals who are involved with real estate transactions.

Finally, Jason is just a very good, friendly, trustworthy person who made what can otherwise be a stressful event much more pleasant.  We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone considering buying a house in the areas he covers as a realtor – you will not be disappointed!

Jason did excellent work with the sale of my property in late 2024. Overall working with him was a very positive experience, but three things to highlight:

Lisa was awesome to work with. She was friendly, upfront, effective, efficient, and flexible. Once the movers came and got the furniture/big stuff, there was lots of "little" things left behind and Jason delivered it to our new home so that we could focus on getting in and unpacking. He was a Godsend! He also got food the day of the move, (for us and the movers) arranged for mulch and removal of a dish in the back yard; you name it, he did it. I couldn't ask for better. We had an amazing experience working with Jason. We were buying land in western NC, but live in another country. Jason patiently and diligently found information on the various properties we had favorited and even traveled to some for us to assess whether it was in our favor or not. When we ultimately visited to make the decision, he was courteous, kind, and patient with us and we found our dream property as a result! I cannot recommend Jason enough.
